With business partner, Boyd Hawkins, Ian opened the new Professionals office in Napier, having most recently spent several years as Sales Manager for Harcourts in Napier and Taradale. With over 20 years of prior corporate experience, Ian complements a sound knowledge of real estate with a wide range of business experience and understanding.

Ian’s easy manner, leadership qualities and fairness in dealings with clients and staff have resulted in a company rapidly increasing in profile and success and have lead to the recruitment of a team of professional people who share the philosophy that clients deserve to be part of ‘the better way of doing real estate.’

Ian and his wife Jan live in Greenmeadows, he has a son, Ben, living in London and a daughter, Jasmine, who is studying in Wellington.
